Hello everybody! Welcome to the new doctrinepastor blog. The website is www.doctrinepastor.com. We will discuss various issues related to doctrine, but especially the doctrines of free grace. By free grace I mean simply this: that each and every person born into this world is born spiritual dead, separated from God, and they must have eternal life to live with God forever. Jesus Christ came into this world, died for the sins of the world, and rose again and He now offers eternal life to all who will simply believe in him for that life. That is His promise:
John 6:47 (NKJV) Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.
To believe means nothing more and nothing less than this: to be convinced that this is true. Jesus gives this promise of giving eternal life to all who believe in Him alone for that life. It really is that simple. Do you believe this promise? If so then you have eternal life.
John 3:14-16 (NKJV) 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
